Preparing a repair request

For a quick initial assessment, provide the manufacturer, model, capacity, year, serial number and a clear description of the fault. Photographs of the nameplate, the complete equipment and the damaged area help us identify likely parts and the scope of work before a technician attends. Safety-related defects require the equipment to remain out of service until it has been assessed.

Our technicians identify the cause, agree the necessary work and replace worn or damaged components. Functional testing and, where required, a documented inspection follow the repair. Work can be carried out on site or in our workshop depending on equipment size and condition. Please also state the location, access conditions and preferred service window so that the visit can be planned efficiently.

Information for a repair request

Manufacturer, model, year, serial number and a concise description of the fault help SHT prepare the next step. Add photographs of the nameplate and affected component where possible. Please also indicate whether the equipment has stopped completely, operates intermittently or has already been taken out of service.
