Column-mounted jib crane

Column-Mounted Jib Crane

The column-mounted jib crane is the ideal solution for precise lifting operations in confined spaces. Thanks to its free-standing installation, it is independent of existing building structures and can be used almost anywhere – for example at machine workstations, in workshops, or at production islands.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Jib Cranes

Yes, in most cases an appropriate concrete foundation is required to safely transfer the loads. The size depends on load capacity, jib arm length and slewing range – we support you with the design.

Both options are possible. The slewing movement and the lifting device can be operated manually or electrically – depending on application, load and comfort requirements.

By default, our jib cranes offer a slewing range from 180° to 270°. On request, full-circle (360°) versions are available – e.g. with freestanding column jib cranes.

Chain hoists are suitable for loads up to approx. 2 t and are more compact and low-maintenance. Wire rope hoists are recommended for higher loads and provide smoother lifting motion. Both can be used on jib cranes.

Our jib cranes can be equipped with radio remote control, frequency inverter, slewing limit stops, additional rotation lock, or special lifting devices such as grabs or lifting beams.
