Custom chain slings provide the flexibility required for unusual load geometries, restricted spaces or special attachment points. SHT configures the number of legs, effective lengths, hooks and connecting components for the specific lifting task and operating conditions.

A safe configuration starts with the maximum load, its centre of gravity and the available attachment points. Sling angles, effective lengths, temperature, edge conditions and the working environment also affect component selection and capacity. Provide these details with your enquiry so SHT can prepare a suitable configuration and clear identification for the finished assembly.
Custom assemblies should be used only within their documented limits and inspected at the required intervals. If the load or operating conditions change, the original selection must be reviewed before the sling is used again.
Custom chain slings for special loads are configured from the attachment points, angles, working length and end fittings.
