KLT transfer unit: faster, safer, more ergonomic KLT handling

The SHT KLT transfer unit separates KLT towers from the pallet and automatically places them on prepared floor rollers/trolleys — sensor-guided clamping, no manual lifting. This reduces strain on staff and speeds up the process significantly.

The system closes the gap between manual handling and costly full automation: robust, flexibly adaptable, and integrable into existing workflows without major modifications.

Typical applications

Repacking KLT stacks from Euro pallets to trolleys/floor rollers
Connection to conveyor systems (optionally via lift/rotate tower), layer-by-layer or complete transfer
Returning empty KLTs as a block back onto the pallet

Simple and safe operation

Place the pallet with KLT stacks into the cell by forklift → the stack is automatically clamped and lifted off the pallet → remove the empty pallet → set the KLT stack down on prepared trolleys. For the reverse process (trolley → pallet) the sequence works analogously.

Performance & flexibility

Designed for a wide range of KLT formats and heavy stacks. The unit handles up to 700 kg total load and can be flexibly adapted or relocated if your process changes.

In practice the system enables complete depalletizing cycles in approx. 3–5 minutes — up to 12 transfers per hour are realistic (layout/logistics dependent).
